Awesome Dinner!

Dinner turned out great, it was all amazing! Here’s a tip for you soon-to-be Thanksgivers… use the oven roasting bag by Reynolds. When you cook your turkey in it, the bag traps all the moisture and steam making for very juicy meat. Since it traps the moisture, there are plenty of drippings left over to make gravy. Michelle made her famous mashed potatoes (with lots of butter, go figure!) and Katie made an apple pie. Duane did a wonderful job carving the turkey.

What an excellent evening! I’m going to bed on time so I can get up and spend the day running around putting the finishing touches on my DSA projects. Wish me luck!

Thanksgiving? I’m curious about Christmas…post your flight plans, it looks like ours are VERY similar. :)
BTW, where will you be for Turkey Day?

Hey Lara! My parents haven’t actually sent me the flight numbers and specific times yet. Supposedly they are going to DHL the tickets to me this week, so as soon as I get them, I’ll post it as a friends-only post.

For Thanksgiving, I’m headed to Michelle’s house in Pittsburgh! It should be a good time :-) Are you taking Josh home with you? We have to get you back into the LJ thing!! I feel sooo left out in your life ;-)
