Right now I’m sitting on the airplane in Dayton ready to take off for my trip back to Troy! I love being on PCS’s Vision network, I can be connected from almost anywhere
A few days ago I was connected on the flight here, and I was IM’ing . That was pretty sweet… afterall, how many people receive IM’s from someone on an airplane?!
So I’ve pretty much enjoyed my trip to Kettering, despite the weather and lack of fireworks. I have quite a bit of homework and other work that I didn’t really do while I was gone. Oh well, that’s what tonight will be for! I have a Signals & Systems exam on Tuesday, and tonight I have to submit my personal ads for Human Sexuality. I also have some Signals homework due tomorrow which I will take care of tonight. It’s going to busy busy busy!
So the steward just stopped by, and in his thick Russian accent (his name is Favian) reminded me that I’m sitting in an Exit Row seat on the plane. Yay for extra leg room
Sorry, I had to fit that in there somewhere!
Ok, we’re about to take off, and people look at you weird if you are using a cell phone or other electronics while in flight. Time to post this and get back to Troy!
-
how can you use your phone on the plane? coool.
-
I feel so special! you were talking to me! rockin’!
yay for having a good time at “home”.
-
I suppose technically I wasn’t supposed to… 0:)
But I just couldn’t resist just trying it out so I could say that I IM’ed and posted to my LJ from an airplane!

It was a good time!

you can update LJ from your phone?!
-
I suppose you could update your LJ via the WAP browser on your phone (talk about painful!) just by pulling up LJ’s website an updating like that from your phone.
I just connect my Sprint PCS phone (Vision enabled) to my laptop, and I can cruise the internet at high speeds from almost anywhere in the US. It’s not something Sprint likes to advertise, it’s actually more of an oversight in the design of their network. But by being able to connect it to my laptop, I can pretty much do anything over the connection I want, like look up road delays or a map in my car from the middle of nowhere or update my LJ from an airplane
