Today was very festive here at home! I am now in the possession of several more DVD’s, including the Indiana Jones collectors set. I guess you could call it a DVD Christmas, just what the studio executives in Hollywood ordered
Among other gifts for my family, I gave my parents a carefully selected bottle of wine. It went very well with dinner, and I got pretty happy after a glass or two too many! Banana creme pie for dessert is always a good ender to an enjoyable, relaxed day!
So Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone out there!

Enjoy the rest of the break
Two random questions:
Did you change the layout of your lj? I didn’t recall you using this layout. *shrugs*
Does RPI leave the doors to academic buildings unlocked during the daylight on weekends? I want to try and find 3 rooms when I get back to campus on the 11th. -
Hey Joe, here are two quick answers for ya!
1. I am experimenting with S2 layouts. Eventually I’d like to create my own, but for now I’ll work on adapting this one.
2. Your best bet for unlocked doors are rooms without LCD’s or other media equipment. I would suggest Sage or Carnegie for that. Although it could be hit or miss since that’s before classes resume. I know the above is true during a regular semester!

Ideally, I need Sage and JEC … They really should put up floor plans of the buildings …

You aren’t planning to do something bad, are you?
Also, why is your LJ set to the default GMT time? I looked up at the post time of my last comment and it was 4 AM-ish. I was worried there for a second that I had inadvertently pulled an all-nighter!

Me? Do something bad?
I want to find my classrooms so I know where they are come class time
I’ll look into the time settings … Wait …. this is your journal … O-), I think mine’s right … I’ll double check.

From the LJ FAQs:
The timestamps on comments in journals using S1 display in the timezone of the LiveJournal servers, which is US Pacific Standard Time (-800 GMT) or, when applicable, US Pacific Daylight Time (-700 GMT). The timestamps on comments in journals using S2 display using the GMT timezone. The times on comments are automatically assigned when they are posted; there is no way to set or edit the time on a comment.
When viewing comments anywhere on LiveJournal, you will need to take into account this time difference in order to work out the local time at which the comment was posted.
