		<description>I see all the points you are making, but I don&#039;t quite agree with you.  I come from Portland which has been a &quot;smokefree&quot; city for a couple of years now.  It is VERY nice to go to a resturant, show, anywhere and not have to deal with people smoking.  As far as I know it has not at all hurt any businesses and smokers for that matter don&#039;t seem to mind too much.  I have found since that law was put into place that smokers now realize more that it bugs other people, and if you are outside on the street with some total stranger, they will offer to put out their cigarette for you.  Maybe this is just where I am from, but it&#039;s the experience I have had with it.  I am definitely looking forward to the new law, but I can also definitely see your point of view.  I don&#039;t know if it&#039;s the right thing or not for the government to do, but maybe I&#039;m selfish but in the end I benefit from it.  That doesn&#039;t make it right, but it makes me bias.  =)</description>
