My parents are in town this weekend, drove up yesterday from Ohio. Today I’m going to take them out to where I work and show them around, and then we’ll probably head back toward town for some sightseeing. Tomorrow of course we’ll be down on the Mall for the fireworks. I remember back to a year ago when there was a tornado on the Fourth when I went to visit my parents. I missed out on the entire Fourth of July fireworks experience last summer, and now they are predicting rain again this Sunday. Hopefully the meterologists are just being cautious and it will be a cool, clear night. One can hope, right?
