I remember four years ago from tonight I was watching the election results on TV at Betsy’s house in Cairo, Egypt. Definitely fun times, and in many ways, we were a well-balanced audience. I also remember that we stayed up all night (because Cairo is eight hours ahead, elections results didn’t pour in until well into the wee hours of the morning), and showed up late to Mr. Fitz’s English class because we were so absorbed in watching the results. It was too bad that I wasn’t a few months older at that time, because I would definitely have voted too.
