Erin’s On the Way!

Erin’s flight arrives this afternoon at three.  I found a really cool website that allows you to track the progress of a flight in terms of speed, altitude, and estimated position & arrival time.  So for Erin’s flight, here is what it looked like:

So as I write this Erin has just crossed over into US airspace and I will be leaving for the airport soon to pick her up.  It’s pretty neat that the developers of this website were able to tap into the Air Traffic Control flight information database and pull this data to provide near-real time flight information.
