One other thing I want to do next weekend in NYC is go to the new Bamn Automat. They seem to be developing a new cult following, but I’m up for new experiences! For more pictures, check out this blog entry that I found through Google.
And people seem to really love it. The reviews are great. Apparently no single item of food sits out for more than 15 minutes so everything is fresh and tasty.
I’d love to open one of these in Adams Morgan!

And if you do, I’ll open a pool on how long it’ll take to be vandalized. I’m betting it can be measured in minutes.

I suppose that’s true, but I could always hire some former Alabama state chain gang guards who sit out front on horses with long barrel shotguns, sunglasses (even at night), and plenty of chewing tobacco. That’ll keep those drunk vandals at bay for a while!
Of course, that might also scare off the customers. I’ll have to find a good balance…
